Rosie arrived on Labor Day ’18, with her babies and littermate Hanky. Rosie had just given birth to four healthy piglets 5 weeks prior and was a wonderful mother despite her young age. She had been dumped on a farm property in southern MO, pregnant and scared. While we don’t know her exact age, we estimate that she became pregnant after her first heat cycle around 12 weeks old. Babies should not have to carry and deliver babies, that is for sure. She beat the odds surviving her pregnancy at her age, and delivering healthy piglets unlike her 3 sisters who all had stillborn litters. After raising and weaning her babies, she got to become the baby she still is herself! She’s EXTREMELY outgoing and friendly. She’s a busy happy girl and loves attention.
