Lilly is a special girl, with some special needs. She came to us about a year ago unable to walk or even stand on her own. She was seen by our vet on arrival, and it was determined her condition was caused by prolonged confinement. Her bones had thickened and her tendons and ligaments had adaptively shortened. She is unable to stretch her legs out completely or walk normally, although she is doing much better getting around these days. She has began seeing our animal chiropractor, is doing daily assisted stretching and strengthening with her foster Momma, and will begin massage therapy with a professional animal therapist very soon.
