Mama Aretha is the most beautiful and amazing mommy we’re ever offered refuge to and to be honest, we’re completely obsessed with her. She is one of 250+ pigs that were rescued and placed through the efforts of the PNW250 case. As is common in most hoarding situations, none of the hundreds of pigs involved had been spayed or neutered, and of course that means many many litters were born. Aretha and her babies arrived to KCPRN in October ’19. She has been spayed and has two new friends in Nellie and Jennifer from the Indy Pig Rescue case. She is the Queen of her little herd and is absolutely adorable. She LOVES wallowing in her mud hole, napping and snacks.
